Call Taker
A2B Towing & Recovery’s mission is to help our customers cope with the needs of everyday life and to smoothly manage life’s little surprises. Serving the customer is our first intention… and we serve the entire St. Charles area, St. Louis area – up to throughout the MIDWEST!
We not only provide towing services for local police agencies but also for many local businesses. We are currently looking for full-time call takers. The shifts needing to be filled are evenings and weekends.
Call Taker Requirements:
- Prior experience in an office environment is preferred.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Ability to speak and read English fluently is required. The ability to speak and/or read additional language(s) is helpful.
- This position includes no supervisory duties.
- Frequent contact with other departments and infrequent contact with the public. Employees in this position must be able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor while effectively gathering information necessary to provide needed assistance.
- Working Conditions: This position is mostly sedentary in nature, requires infrequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of medium sized load. Extended periods of time at a keyboard or computer station will be required. Tasks involve viewing monitors of information display and entry.
Dispatcher

We not only provide towing services for local police agencies but also for many local businesses. We are currently looking for full-time Light Duty Tow Truck Operators. The shifts needing to be filled are evenings and weekends.
Dispatcher Requirements:
- Primary responsibility is dispatching calls to the appropriate tow operator in a timely fashion
- First line of communication with towing operators
- Communicating call information to operators to ensure services are completed safely, correctly and on time.
- Assist in answering inbound calls to Bolin or A2B main lines as needed.
- Direct callers to impound when needed
- Track driver in/out times on daily check-in sheet
- Utilize schedule and truck assignment sheet daily to track drivers
- Monitor the towing email
- Track on call driver use as needed
- Maintains an advanced understanding of towing and the services we offer
- Review call info for accuracy and correct any errors or get any additional information needed before dispatching
- Use map resources to be aware of call locations
- Monitor driver locations with GPS software
- Communicate with call takers on current availability and ETA
- Update calls as needed based on the on-scene circumstances
- Run payment by card when applicable
- Communicate all pertinent information in the call notes as needed to drivers
Light Duty Operator

We not only provide towing services for local police agencies but also for many local businesses. We are currently looking for full-time Light Duty Tow Truck Operators. The shifts needing to be filled are evenings and weekends.
Tow Truck Operator Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Tow Truck Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be detail oriented and accurate in work assignments
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret road maps
- Demonstrates positive customer service attitude – both to coworkers and customers.
- Possess good English verbal communication, legible handwriting, and basic math.
- Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in tight spaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather
- Ability to walk considerable distances in the facility during the day
- Sit behind driving wheel for extended periods of time
- Successfully pass drug tests in compliance with company policy and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Heavy Duty Operator
We not only provide towing services for local police agencies but also for many local businesses. We are currently looking for full-time Heavy-Duty Operators. The shifts needing to be filled are evenings and weekends.
Heavy Duty Operator Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with 2 yrs. verifiable experience
- Clean Driving record
- Double and Triple Endorsements (or must be able to obtain)
- Flatbed, Lowboy, or Heavy Haul experience a plus
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrates positive customer service attitude – both to coworkers and customers.
- Possess good English verbal communication, legible handwriting, and basic math.
- Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:
- Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in tight spaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather
- Ability to walk considerable distances in the facility during the day
- Sit behind driving wheel for extended periods of time

Hauling Driver
A2B Towing & Recovery’s mission is to help our customers cope with the needs of everyday life and to smoothly manage life’s little surprises. Serving the customer is our first intention… and we serve the entire St. Charles area, St. Louis area – up to throughout the MIDWEST!
We not only provide towing services for local police agencies but also for many local businesses. We are currently looking for full-time Hauling Drivers. The shifts needing to be filled are evenings and weekends.
Hauling Driver Requirements:
- Must have a valid CDL driver license.
- Proven work experience as a truck driver.
- Good driving record.
- Must have oversize load (width, length, and height) hauling experience.
- Must be able to travel overnight occasionally. Most trips will be day trips.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, conditions, etc.)
- Knowledge of applicable trucking driving rules and regulations.
- Ensure safe transportation and delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Inspect assigned vehicle regularly to identify and report any repairs or maintenance needed. Also ensure vehicle is neat and tidy.
- Report any accidents or damages incurred during transport to supervisor.
- Demonstrates positive customer service attitude – both to coworkers and customers.
- Possess good English verbal communication, legible handwriting, and basic math.
- Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:
